Finally a Led Zeppelin / Jimmy Page Replica of the Poppy Jacket!

After several months of picking apart every detail of the remaining vintage images of Jimmy Page's iconic poppy bodice and floral sleeve jacket, an amazing reproduction of Jimmy Page's epic stagewear now exists and is available for sale. 

Gina Vincenza Van Epps, aka Psycho Seamstress, has a few vintage rockwear replicas under her belt. After several months of collaboration with a co worker from Universal Theme Parks, Gina and Judy Weichbrodt, a Costume Specialist with embroidery software and sewing equipment, spent several months recreating the elaborate vintage design files. 

After scrapping 2 previous versions, they finally came up with a method that resulted in the stunning machine embroidered and hand beaded design. 

The process they are using is as follows; the design is embroidered onto a tulle mesh and hand sewn to any prefabricated jacket. If the files need to be resized to fit a longer or shorter arm, it's possible to do without loosing the integrity of the design. 

Choosing the right thread combination was also a challenge. 

Once the design has been hand sewn to the jacket (which takes 3 full days). After the design is securely in place, then it can be hand beaded (which takes 7 days)!

If you'd just like the embroidered panels and will sew them down and bead them yourself you can buy the set of 3 embroidered panels. 

If you'd like to mail in a jacket, the files can be sewn and beaded to your jacket. 

If you'd like a custom jacket made with this 3 piece design, that is also possible.
